I can't believe we're almost in the middle of July already!! Still waiting for the Summer to arrive:(
Anyway while we're waiting here's another baby blanket I made. It's called the Blackberry Salad Blanket and you can find the link here. It's a very easy pattern but is sooooo slow growing. Having said that I love how it turned out.
Well hello there, how long has it been?!!!!! I gave up card making altogether and started crocheting (again) and haven't stopped since!!
For you card makers out there who've followed my blog, I'm afraid I'm going to bore you to death with all my crochet projects, but for all you crocheters out there I hope you like my "creations"! So here we go, this first pic is the start of a blanket I started back in September 2014.
It's still ongoing and here are a few more pics of work in progress!!
So that's it for now on this one. I'll keep you up to date on the progress, but in between I'll be showing you stuff I've done in between.
After seeing a lot of these pop up box cards around I thought I'd have a bash myself and make one for my Mum's birthday.
I followed these easy, peasy instructions with no measuring involved! Thanks Nikky x
I used silver mirri card, stamping up papers and some fabric flowers I bought from W H Smith years ago!! It took me ages to do it, but that was only because I couldn't decide how to place the flowers and leaves. Now I've done one it won't take me as long next time (I hope)!!
Been very busy with my Hunkydory DT work, but in between I've found time to pick up my crochet hook and make a few baby items ready for a few little babies that are waiting in the wings to make an appearance.
This is my first baby dress and I'm really pleased with the results.
I've also done one in peaches and cream but I'll show you that one later.
Hope you all had a fantastic Easter :) xx
Well I bet you thought I'd gone for good didn't you?
No such luck!!
Just not had the enthusiasm to make cards since before Christmas and when it becomes a chore and not a hobby you know something has to give!
After a very difficult decision I decided to step down from my DT positions with Just Inklined and La Pashe, and I'd just like to thank Jak Heath and the team from the bottom of my heart for giving me the opportunity to work alongside them.
I'm still designing for Hunkydory though and on that note, I'm going to post my very first card this year using the brand spanking new "Floral Fantasia" which is the current Pick of the Week on Create and Craft TV.
I'll be back with another one tomorrow, and hopefully I'll keep up with my blogging as I've a few other projects on the go, including crochet and jewellery.
Hope you had a nice weekend whatever you were doing :) xx
Firstly Happy Christmas to all that have supported Just Inklined over the last year, we are also over on Facebook and we would love to see more of your creations so join us there.
Every day, one or two of the Design Team will be showcasing their favourite Christmas card that they made with our digital stamps and each one of the girls will be giving away to 2 commenters the image that they used to make their featured card.
For my card I've used the gorgeous Poinsettia Farm set which is available in the shop if you don't happen to be one of the lucky winners!
Today I am Sharing a la Pashe sneaky peak from this fab new cd rom.
La Pashe have teamed up with Adela Rossol from Creations by AR and we have 30 of her 3D Templates all on one CD,
